What this is

AisleBloom provides a digital guest book: an app that runs on a tablet at your event and a dashboard where you configure it and keep what your guests leave. These terms cover using it. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

Your account

You need an account to create an event. Keep access to the email address you sign in with, since that is how you get back in. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including who you hand a paired tablet to.

Your guests' entries

Entries belong to the people who made them and to you as the event host. We claim no ownership of them and will not use them for anything except running the service for you.

You are responsible for the guest book you put in front of people. In practice that means telling guests their photo or recording is being kept, and honouring a reasonable request to remove an entry. The app is built to make that easy: every entry can be hidden or deleted, and nothing is published until you turn on a share link.

Acceptable use

Do not use AisleBloom to collect or publish material that is unlawful, that harasses someone, or that you have no right to share. We may remove content or suspend an account that does, though we do not monitor guest books and will normally only act on a report.

Availability

We try hard to keep the service running, particularly on a Saturday evening. The tablet app is built to work with no connection at all and to upload later, so a network failure at your venue should not cost you entries.

That said, we cannot promise the service will never be unavailable, and you should treat the ZIP export as your own backup once your event is over. Download it.

Ending it

You can delete your event or your account whenever you like, which deletes the entries and the stored files with it. Export anything you want to keep first, because we cannot get it back for you afterwards.

Liability

We provide AisleBloom as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you rather than relying on you noticing this page.
